The Diaspora Scholarship Program established by the Hungarian Government, which is also available at the University of Debrecen.
This scholarship program is open for students who live in a Hungarian diaspora outside of the European Union and wish to study at a Hungarian higher education institution to develop their personal, professional, and cultural ties with Hungary.
The Diaspora Scholarship Program provides many opportunities for students living in a Hungarian diaspora and applying for a Hungarian higher education institution such as tuition-free education, monthly stipend, accommodation- and travel contribution, and even medical insurance.
