Look at this creative project!

I contacted Kathy last year after seeing her work and she graciously agreed to visit with me about this sweet dragonfly. It was a fun afternoon! Kathy is a creative person and we didn’t get into the nuts and bolts of the project, which is ok. She felt like there was enough information online about how to create this kind of project in general and, those who want a Hungarian theme can be inspired by Hungarian embroidery they have around the house!

If you take a closer look, you can see it is made out of ceiling fan blades and a table leg.  Click here for related inspiration — I think there is a lot of potential for this kind of project utilizing Hungarian themes!

Thank you, Kathy, for taking an afternoon to visit with me about this project! I appreciate your time and talent. And thank you for the special treat of Hungarian strudel from Lydia’s Hungarian Strudel Shop in Parma Heights, Ohio. It was delicious!

Hungarian Christmas Coloring Pages

Hungarian Christmas Coloring Pages

You can print these pages and color them with crayons, colored pencils or washable markers. They circles are much easier to color if you leave the sheet whole. Color your heart out and then cut out your colored circles and glue them onto colorful construction paper that is just a bit larger. Don’t forget to use a paper punch for the hole at the top! Use yarn to hang them on the Christmas tree

We offer a variety of books, foods, and gifts for all ages with a unique focus on Hungarian heritage.
