Hungarian Heritage Expo
July 9, 2024

Our Hungarian Heritage Expo – is an online and free celebration of Hungarian heritage and culture!

When and where is the Expo?
The Hungarian Heritage Expo runs July 17-20. It is entirely online and should be able to be accessed from wherever you are in the world, as long as you have an internet connection!

What do I need to do first?
You must first go to the website and learn about the Expo. If you like what you see, register for your free ticket. Once you have that, you will be able to see the schedule of which day the presentations are so you can plan to watch the ones that interest you.

What is the language of the Expo?
All of the presentations are in English.

How does it work?
Each day of the Expo and 11am Eastern time (U.S. New York) there will be prerecorded presentations available for that day. Each free ticket holder has 24 hours during that time frame (Eastern time 11am-10:59 am the next day) to watch the sessions for free. There are 30+ presentations on a wide variety of topics. When you get your free ticket, you will see all the speakers and their presentations so you can decide which ones are on your must watch list.

What if I can’t attend the Expo during that week?
There is an option to upgrade your ticket for longer access if you aren’t sure you will be able to watch all the presentations in the allotted time. But, if you can see the ones you want to see and you don’t want to upgrade your ticket, you certainly don’t have to.

What is the benefit of upgrading my ticket?
If you upgrade your ticket to the Hungarian Heritage Expo Tool Kit, you will get 6 months with the recordings – which will give you the option of watching them again, even with a sibling, adult children or grandchild with you. And you will also receive a lot of other great resources and opportunities which are designed to help you make a deeper connection with your Hungarian heritage in a variety of ways. All of the details in the Hungarian Heritage Expo Tool Kit are outlined as you work through the process of your free ticket.

Where do I go to connect with the presenters and other attendees?
We have also created the Hungarian Heritage Expo Chat as a part of The Hungarian Living Community where you can connect with the presenters and other attendees. Come join the discussions! You can learn about the other participants and share about your own story as well!

If you have any questions, we’d love to hear from you! Just email [email protected]
